About
My name is Sioned Hughes
Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a teenager I spent hours drawing, and this passion led me to study art, design, and technology at university as part of my teaching degree.
I went on to teach for over 11 years before taking a new path and opening a day nursery on the beautiful island of Anglesey. The nursery has now been running for over 21 years, and I finally felt the time was right to return to my first love—painting.
I am still learning and enjoying every step of the journey. I mainly work with acrylics, painting scenes inspired by the landscapes and atmosphere of Anglesey, an island very close to my heart. Alongside this, I also love creating quirky mosaic-style pieces.

My First Collection
This is my first set of paintings inspired by the beautiful beaches and waters around Anglesey especially Llanddwyn. It is the most magical place to visit and I am lucky to live in such a place. I sell prints of A4 and A3 sizes, also some originals are available to buy through messaging me direct through email. I do hope you will enjoy my paintings. Thank you.
